Supervision and Evaluation The processes of overseeing, inspecting, reviewing, assessing, and evaluating the work of an educator to determine the degree which that individual is providing the services needed by students so that they improve their performance according the Mission and other requirements. The process of supervision and evaluation are supported by professional development needed by the educator to continually improve. The educator takes a very active role in his or her supervision and evaluation and uses self-assessment, self-evaluation and goal setting to be on a Spiral of Continuous Improvement so that student performance continually improves.
